2024-2025 DVM Mentoring Program

Mentoring changes lives by helping our students achieve their full potential. Our Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Mentoring Program pairs mentors with student mentees entering their fourth and final year of study. Mentors assist students in transitioning from the University to the workplace by sharing their knowledge, experience and advice. Across a whole year, students get the opportunity to connect with their mentors who play a significant role in their mentees’ career development and personal growth. As one mentee said: “My mentor has been amazing in providing new graduate career and interview advice. He’s looked over my CV and cover letter, done mock interviews via Zoom, put me in touch with other vets when I needed advice and is generally always so responsive.
